Very important is a home loss of second rankedVikos (19-7) against fourth ranked Proteas (18-8) on Saturday night. Host Vikos was defeated by Proteas in a tough game in Ioannina 67-75 . It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Vikos I.. Vikos was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The winners were led by point guard Iakovos Milentigievits (185-1997) who scored that evening 23 points and American guard Makye Richards (188, college: Xavier, LA) supported him with 15 points and 6 rebounds. Even 16 points by American guard Quincy Anderson (193-1999, college: Murray St.) did not help to save the game for Vikos . Center Georgios Diamantakos (215-1995, agency: Octagon Europe) added 12 points and 7 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Proteas maintains fourth position with 18-8 record. Vikos at the other side keeps the second place with seven games lost.
