Very expected game when 8th rankedKoroivos (14-14) lost to third ranked Megaridas (20-8) in Megara 83-88 on Saturday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Naturalized Australian swingman Nicolas Pozoglou (196-1996) notched 16 points and 7 rebounds to lead the effort and power forward Aristotelis Sotiriou (203-2001, college: Adelphi) supported him with 16 points and 5 rebounds. Four Megaridas players scored in double figures. Megaridas' coach Giorgos Mandalos used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Even 27 points and 5 assists by American point guard RJ Glasper (186-1998, college: UIW) did not help to save the game for Koroivos . Charilaos Paraskevopoulos (199-2005) added 22 points and 8 rebounds. Megaridas have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Proteas and Vikos. Loser Koroivos dropped to the ninth position with 14 games lost.
