Everything could happen in Egilsstadir at the game between two tied teams. Both tenth rankedKR and 8th ranked Hottur had identical 3-4 record. But Hottur was not able to use a home court advantage and was edged by the opponent from Reykjavik 88-85 on Friday night. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. KR (4-4) moved-up to fifth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Hottur dropped to the ninth position with five games lost. They share it with Valur.
