American guard Sherif Gross-Bullock (196-1999, college: Bryant) came up with 25 points and 6 rebounds and Irish-British forward Taiwo Badmus (200-1993, college: UVA Wise) added 10 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Valur in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Thor Thorl moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Grindavik and Keflavik. Defending champion Valur keeps the eighth position with eight games lost. They share it with IR and Alftanes.
