Everything went according to plan when third rankedNjardvik (9-5) beat at home 5th ranked Keflavik (7-7) 107-98 on Thursday. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Njardvik shot the lights out from three sinking 17 long-distance shots on high 51.5 percentage. The best player for the winners was French-Central African forward Evans Ganapamo (201-1994, college: PVAMU) who scored 44 points (!!!). American point guard Khalil Shabazz (183-1998, college: USF) chipped in 28 points and 5 steals. American-German Jarell Reischel (200-1992, college: EKU) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points, 11 rebounds and 9 assists and American guard Ty-Shon Alexander (193-1998, college: Creighton) added 22 points respectively for the guests. Five Keflavik players scored in double figures. Njardvik have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 9-5 record having just two points less than leader Stjarnan. Loser Keflavik keeps the fifth place with seven games lost. They share the position with KR and Thor Thorl.
