The game in Sauoarkrokur supposed to be also quite interesting. Third rankedKeflavik (11-5) played at the court of 5th ranked Tindastoll (8-8). Keflavik smashed Tindastoll 97-69 on Tuesday. The guests trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 3-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 97-69. Keflavik forced 26 Tindastoll turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. American swingman Jasmine Dickey (175-2000, college: Delaware, agency: LBM Management) fired a double-double by scoring 25 points and 17 rebounds (made all of her seven free throws) for the winners. The former international forward Thelma Agustsdottir (183-1998, college: Ball St.) chipped in 13 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. Senegalese power forward Oumoul Sarr (190-1984) produced 20 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and American-Syrian guard Randi Brown (173-1996, college: New Orleans) added 12 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for lost side. Five Keflavik and four Tindastoll players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Keflavik have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains third position with 11-5 record having just two points less than leader Haukar, which they share with Njardvik. Tindastoll lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the fifth place with eight games lost.
