Subway League top team -Haukar (15-3) added another victory to their record. This time they beat fifth ranked Tindastoll (8-10) in Hafnarfjordur 90-86 . Haukar made 22-of-28 charity shots (78.6 percent) during the game. Haukar outrebounded Tindastoll 49-33 including a 34-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. Belgian forward Lore Devos (185-1999, college: Colorado St., agency: LBM Management) had a double-double by scoring 26 points and 14 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and international forward Thora Jonsdottir (173-1997) chipped in 14 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists during the contest. Four Haukar players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Latvian guard Ilze Jakobsone (168-1994) with 20 points, 8 assists and 5 steals (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) and Polish forward Edyta Falenczyk (180-1993) scored 25 points and 7 rebounds.
