Important game to mention about took place in Thorlakshofn. Tenth rankedThor Thorl (9-10) saved a 3-point victory at home edging much higher ranked Stjarnan (14-5) 94-91 on Friday evening. It was quite big embarassment for the guest team. Stjarnan was ahead by 7 points after three quarters before a 18-11 charge of Thor Thorl, which allowed them to win the game. They made 17-of-20 charity shots (85.0 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists. It was a great evening for American-French forward Jordan Semple (201-1992, college: Chico St.) who led his team to a victory with a triple-double by scoring 15 points, 19 rebounds, 10 assists and 4 blocks. American guard Mustapha Heron (196-1997, college: St.John's) helped adding 31 points and 7 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws). At the losing side Dutch center Shaquille Rombley (203-1996, college: LMU, agency: Slash Sports) responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 18 rebounds and the former international guard Hilmar Henningsson (195-2000) scored 24 points and 5 assists. Four Stjarnan players scored in double figures. Stjarnan's coach Baldur Ragnarsson rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Thor Thorl moved-up to seventh place, which they share with KR. Stjarnan at the other side still keeps top position with five games lost. They share it with Tindastoll.
