Very predictable result when fourth rankedArmann (13-6) rolled over on the road 11th ranked Selfoss (4-14) 107-86 on Friday. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 107-86. Armann outrebounded Selfoss 50-39 including 38 on the defensive glass. Armann looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists. It was an exceptional evening for forward Arnaldur Grimsson (195-2002) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 10 rebounds. Kristofer Bjorgvinsson (187-2007) accounted for 18 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side. Five Armann players scored in double figures. American swingman Follie Bogan (193-2000, college: Milligan) came up with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 13 rebounds and Czech center Vojtech Novak (205-1997) added 10 points and 7 assists respectively for Selfoss in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Armann moved-up to second place, which they share with Hamar and Sindri. Loser Selfoss keep the eleventh position with 14 games lost.
