Very predictable result whenGrindavik smashed at home Armann 86-59 on Tuesday. The game was mostly controlled by Grindavik. Armann managed to win fourth quarter 17-13 . But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Grindavik dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Armann 's 20. Grindavik forced 23 Armann turnovers and outrebounded them 46-31 including 32 on the defensive glass. Grindavik looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Armann 's players. The best player for the winners was American point guard Abby Beeman (163-2001, college: Marshall) who scored 22 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists. The former international forward Isabella Sigurdardottir (187-1997) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds. Four Grindavik players scored in double figures. Spanish guard Marta Hermida (180-1997, college: Boise St.) produced 20 points and American guard Khiana Johnson (173-1998, college: Radford, agency: LBM Management) added 14 points respectively for the guests. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
