The game had a very big importance for third-rankedNjardvik as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Njardvik smashed bottom-ranked Hamar at home 88-61 . Njardvik made 16-of-16 free shots (100 percent !!!) during the game. Njardvik outrebounded Hamar 46-34 including a 37-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of Swedish Paulina Hersler (193-1994, college: Florida) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 8 rebounds. International guard Danielle Rodriguez (177-1993, college: Utah) contributed with 15 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. Four Njardvik players scored in double figures. Spanish-Venezuelan point guard Mariana Duran (172-1993, college: Okla City) answered with 22 points and 8 rebounds and Bosnian center Jovana Markovic (187-1997) added 17 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Hamar. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Njardvik have a solid series of three victories in a row. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Grindavik. Hamar at the other side still closes the standings with seven games lost.
