No shocking result in a game when second rankedTindastoll (5-1) crushed bottom-ranked Armann (0-6) in Reykjavik 110-77 on Friday. Tindastoll dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Armann 's 30. Tindastoll had a 33-22 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. Serbian Ivan Gavrilovic (205-1996) notched 23 points (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and the former international point guard Sigtryggur Bjornsson (180-1993, college: St.Mary's) supported him with 22 points. Even 24 points and 7 rebounds by guard Bragi Gudmundsson (196-2003, college: Campbell, agency: One Motive Sports) did not help to save the game for Armann . The former international guard Olafur Olafsson (194-1990) added 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Tindastoll and four Armann players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Tindastoll maintains second position with 5-1 record behind leader Grindavik. Newly promoted Armann still closes the standings with six games lost.
