Top rankedNjardvik (7-2) recorded its second loss at the home court on Wednesday night. Hosts were rolled over by sixth ranked Haukar (5-4) 102-80 . It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Njardvik. Haukar forced 19 Njardvik turnovers and outrebounded them 100-84 including a 62-49 advantage in defensive rebounds. Haukar looked well-organized offensively handing out 45 assists comparing to just 27 passes made by Njardvik 's players. 32 personal fouls committed by Njardvik helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was French guard Amandine Toi (178-1998, college: Virginia) who scored 36 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 5 assists (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field). American forward Krystal Freeman (183-1999, college: Tulane) chipped in a double-double by scoring 27 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was international guard Danielle Rodriguez (177-1993, college: Utah) who recorded 25 points and 5 rebounds and Swedish Paulina Hersler (193-1994, college: Florida) added 15 points respectively. Four Njardvik players scored in double figures. Njardvik's coach Einar Johannsson gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Defending champion maintains sixth place with 5-4 record. Njardvik at the other side still keeps top position with two games lost. They share it with Valur.
