Rather expected game when 8th rankedTindastoll (3-7) lost to sixth ranked Haukar (6-4) in Sauoarkrokur 89-93 on Tuesday. Haukar dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Tindastoll 's 22. Haukar looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. American forward Krystal Freeman (183-1999, college: Tulane) notched a double-double by scoring 20 points and 14 rebounds to lead the effort and French guard Amandine Toi (178-1998, college: Virginia) supported her with 22 points and 9 assists. Four Haukar players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 42 points (!!!), 8 rebounds, 10 assists and 4 steals by Spanish guard Marta Hermida (180-1997, college: Boise St.) did not help to save the game for Tindastoll . added 16 points and 11 rebounds for lost side. Defending champion maintains sixth position with 6-4 record. Loser Tindastoll keeps the eighth place with seven games lost.
