Subway League top team -Grindavik (9-1) had no problems winning another game on Thursday. This time they crushed twelfth ranked Armann (1-9) 105-85 . Grindavik looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American point guard Khalil Shabazz (183-1998, college: USF) fired 25 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Hungarian-American swingman DeAndre Kane (195-1989, college: Iowa St.) chipped in 18 points and 9 rebounds. Five Grindavik players scored in double figures. Grindavik's coach Johann Olafsson used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Guard Bragi Gudmundsson (196-2003, college: Campbell, agency: One Motive Sports) produced 25 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and Dutch forward Lagio Grantsaan (203-1997, college: Morgan St., agency: Octagon Europe) added 22 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side.
