No shocking result in a game when sixth rankedKeflavik (9-7) beat at home 8th ranked Tindastoll (5-11) 82-75 on Tuesday. Keflavik outrebounded Tindastoll 44-30 including 32 on the defensive glass. Keflavik looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Keflavik made 7 blocks. The winners were led by Canadian guard Keishana Washington (170-2000, college: Drexel, agency: LBM Management) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 16 points, 9 rebounds and 10 assists and the former international forward Sara Hinriksdottir (185-1996, college: Canisius) supported her with 18 points and 5 rebounds. Four Keflavik players scored in double figures. Keflavik's coach Sigurdur Ingimundarson allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 34 points (!!!), 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals by Spanish guard Marta Hermida (180-1997, college: Boise St.) did not help to save the game for Tindastoll . American forward Maddie Sutton (180-1998, college: Tusculum) added 20 points, 8 rebounds, 9 assists and 7 steals for lost side. Keflavik maintains sixth position with 9-7 record. Tindastoll lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with 11 games lost.
