There was no surprise in Sauoarkrokur where 11th rankedArmann (4-13) was crushed by third ranked Tindastoll (12-5) 113-76 on Friday. Tindastoll made 20-of-23 free shots (87.0 percent) during the game. Tindastoll had a 36-22 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Armann 's players. American point guard Dedrick Basile (178-1994, college: CSUB) stepped up and scored 27 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and Irish-British forward Taiwo Badmus (200-1993, college: UVA Wise) chipped in 23 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. American-Swedish guard Daniel Love (190-1999, college: Eckerd) responded with 18 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists and guard Bragi Gudmundsson (196-2003, college: Campbell, agency: One Motive Sports) scored 14 points and 9 rebounds. Five Armann players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Tindastoll moved-up to second place, which they share with Stjarnan. Newly promoted Armann keeps the eleventh position with 13 games lost.
