Very expected game when 11th rankedArmann (4-14) was edged by third ranked Stjarnan (13-5) in Reykjavik 90-88 on Friday. Stjarnan dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Armann 's 34. American forward Seth LeDay (201-1996, college: ECU, agency: 6th Man Basketball Agency) notched a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds to lead the effort and the former international guard Hilmar Henningsson (195-2000) supported him with 21 points. Even 22 points and 7 rebounds by American-Swedish guard Daniel Love (190-1999, college: Eckerd) did not help to save the game for Armann . Ingvi Gudmundsson (195-1998, college: St.Louis, agency: Diamond Sports) added 23 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Stjarnan have an impressive ten-game winning streak. Defending champion moved-up to second place, which they share with Tindastoll. Armann lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the bottom position with 14 games lost. They share it with Akranes IA.
