There was no surprise whenTindastoll (8-12) was defeated on the road by Keflavik (11-9) 77-67 . Keflavik outrebounded Tindastoll 47-31 including a 34-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a good game for Canadian guard Keishana Washington (170-2000, college: Drexel, agency: LBM Management) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 31 points, 16 rebounds and 5 assists (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field). International Anna Svansdottir (175-2001) contributed with 15 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Keflavik's coach Sigurdur Ingimundarson allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Spanish guard Marta Hermida (180-1997, college: Boise St.) answered with 26 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and American forward Maddie Sutton (180-1998, college: Tusculum, agency: Dagger Basket) added 22 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for Tindastoll.
