No shocking result in a game in Reykjavik where third rankedThor (12-2) smashed 9th ranked KV (2-15) 115-72 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Thor. KV managed to win fourth quarter 26-23 . But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Thor dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to KV 's 26. They outrebounded KV 48-32 including a 31-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Thor looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was a great evening for American forward Chloe Wilson (180, college: Delaware) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 13 rebounds. Danish Emilie Ravn (176-2000) helped adding 24 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Thor AK players scored in double figures. At the losing side power forward Helena Haraldsdottir (182-2003) responded with 14 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Telma Bjarkadottir (170-2000) scored 13 points. KV's coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Thor maintains third place with 12-2 record having seven points less than leader Athena. KV lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the ninth position with 15 games lost.
