The game in Stykkisholmur supposed to be also quite interesting. 5th rankedIR (8-9) played at the court of sixth ranked Snaefell (8-9). Snaefell smashed IR 76-55 on Wednesday. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 5-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 76-55. Snaefell dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to IR 's 24. They outrebounded IR 51-29 including a 19-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American point guard Haiden Palmer (174-1991, college: Gonzaga) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points, 17 rebounds, 8 assists and 7 steals. The former international forward Anna Larusdottir (174-1999) chipped in 24 points and 8 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Caely Kesten (175-2001, college: NW Missouri St.) who recorded 16 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and point guard Heida Jonsdottir (167-2006) added 16 points respectively. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Snaefell moved-up to fifth place, which they share with defeated IR.
