The most surprising game was a loss of top-rankedGrindavik (17-4) in Reykjavik on Thursday night. Visitors were defeated by tenth ranked Armann (6-15) 103-87 . The game was mostly controlled by Armann. Grindavik managed to win third quarter 31-15 . But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Armann looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a good game for American-Swedish guard Daniel Love (190-1999, college: Eckerd) who led his team to a victory with 21 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Guard Bragi Gudmundsson (196-2003, college: Campbell, agency: One Motive Sports) contributed with 20 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Armann's coach Steinar Kaldal used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American-French forward Jordan Semple (201-1992, college: Chico St.) answered with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) and American point guard Jeremy Pargo (188-1986, college: Gonzaga) added 20 points and 8 assists in the effort for Grindavik. Five Armann and four Grindavik players scored in double figures. Newly promoted Armann maintains tenth place with 6-15 record, which they share with Thor Thorl. Grindavik at the other side still keeps top position with four games lost.
