No shocking result in a game when eighth rankedTindastoll (9-12) crushed bottom-ranked Armann (3-19) in Sauoarkrokur 95-69 on Saturday. Tindastoll made 19-of-20 free shots (95.0 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. The winners were led by American forward Maddie Sutton (180-1998, college: Tusculum, agency: Dagger Basket) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 28 points, 16 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals (made all of her eight free throws) and Spanish guard Marta Hermida (180-1997, college: Boise St.) supported her with 24 points and 5 assists. Even 8 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists by guard Jonina Karlsdottir (170-1999) did not help to save the game for Armann . American guard Kylie Kornegay-Lucas (178-2001, college: Towson) added 8 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Tindastoll maintains eighth position with 9-12 record. Armann lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team stay dead last with 19 lost games.
