Not a big story in a game when 10th rankedThor (4-17) was rolled over on the road by eighth ranked Selfoss (10-12) 121-86 on Sunday. The game without a history. Selfoss led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Thor 's players. Guard Birkir Sigurdarson (180-2006) fired 26 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. American guard Steven Lyles (193, college: Spring Hill) chipped in 18 points and 6 assists. Selfoss' coach Johannes Skarphedinsson felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Christian Caldwell (202-2001, college: S.Arkansas, agency: Dagger Basket) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 17 rebounds and guard Eirikur Jonsson (189-2007) added 24 points respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Selfoss moved-up to seventh place. Loser Thor AK keeps the tenth position with 17 games lost.
