An interesting game forKR (14-7) which hosted in Reykjavik their biggest opponent Njardvik (14-7). Third ranked KR had an easy win 89-70 . KR looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international guard Rebekka Steingrimsdottir (173-2008) who helped to win the game recording 20 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. American guard Jiselle Thomas (175-1999, college: ETSU) contributed with 20 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. International guard Danielle Rodriguez (177-1993, college: Utah) replied with 26 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and Cambodian point guard Brittany Dinkins (170-1994) added 18 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Njardvik. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. KR moved-up to second place, which they share with defeated Njardvik.
