Haukar made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Keflavik turnovers. Haukar looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Krystal Freeman (183-1999, college: Tulane) who had a double-double by scoring 26 points and 13 rebounds. French guard Amandine Toi (178-1998, college: Virginia) chipped in 17 points and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international forward Sara Hinriksdottir (185-1996, college: Canisius) who recorded 19 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists and Canadian guard Keishana Washington (170-2000, college: Drexel, agency: LBM Management) added 19 points and 4 assists respectively. Keflavik's coach Sigurdur Ingimundarson rotated ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
