There was a surprise result when thirteenth rankedE.Shomron (2-6) won against at home higher ranked E.Ashkelon (5-4) 101-96 on Friday. E.Shomron shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 59.3 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Guard Ido Harel (186-2003) notched 21 points and 6 rebounds to lead the effort and American Isaiah Crawley (201-1998, college: Georgia South) supported him with 19 points and 6 rebounds. Even 24 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists by Tomer Cohen (193-1997, agency: BIG) did not help to save the game for E.Ashkelon . American Darrell Davis (196-1996, college: Dayton, agency: Slash Sports) added 20 points and 6 assists for lost side. Five E.Shomron and four E.Ashkelon players scored in double figures. E.Shomron moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with H.Izrael. Loser E.Ashkelon dropped to the seventh position with four games lost.
