There was no surprise in Rishon Le-Zion where 7th rankedM.Haifa (3-6) was defeated by third ranked H.Rishon LZ (6-2) 75-60 on Monday. International swingman Eden Zipel (184-2002) stepped up and scored 19 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals for the winners and American forward Shae Kelley (185-1991, college: Minnesota) chipped in 17 points and 8 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American point guard Ariel Hearn (171-1994, college: Memphis) with 26 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and the other American import forward Najai Pollard (180-1997, college: Delaware St.) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds. The victory was the third consecutive win for H.Rishon LZ . They maintain third place with 6-2 record having four points less than leader M.Ashdod. Loser M.Haifa keeps the seventh position with six games lost. They share it with Hapoel K/S.
