No shocking result in a game when tenth rankedM.Rishon (5-5) defeated on the road 12th ranked E.Shomron (2-9) 92-78 on Saturday. M.Rishon looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward DJ Burns (201-2001, college: YSU, agency: Players Group) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 32 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals and naturalized American forward Josh Freund (204-1997, college: Roanoke) who added 19 points during the contest. Burns is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. The best for the losing side was American Isaiah Crawley (201-1998, college: Georgia South) with 14 points and 9 rebounds and guard Yaron Goldman (188-2006) scored 17 points and 6 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. E.Shomron's coach Dror Cohen tested eleven players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. M.Rishon have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to ninth place. E.Shomron lost third consecutive game. They keep the twelfth position with nine games lost. They share it with H.Izrael.
