There was a minor upset in Gan Ner where 9th rankedH.Gilboa Galil (4-7) was defeated by eleventh ranked Hapoel Beer Sheva (4-6) 83-78 on Sunday. H.Be'er Sheva made 23-of-29 free shots (79.3 percent) during the game. They also forced 25 H.Gilboa Galil turnovers. Strangely H.Gilboa Galil outrebounded H.Be'er Sheva 39-26 including a 31-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great evening for Panamanian guard Iverson Molinar (193-1999, college: MSU) who led his team to a victory scoring 27 points. The former international Spencer Weisz (193-1995, college: Princeton) helped adding 13 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals. Forward Gur Lavy (198-2001, agency: BIG) responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists and American forward Ben Moore (203-1995, college: SMU) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds. Four H.Gilboa Galil players scored in double figures. H.Be'er Sheva moved-up to ninth place. Newly promoted H.Gilboa Galil dropped to the tenth position with seven games lost. They share it with I.Ness Ziona.
