Very important is a road loss of third rankedM.Rehovot (8-4) against ninth ranked M.Rishon (6-5) on Friday night. Visiting M.Rehovot was defeated by M.Rishon in Rishon Le-Zion 91-76 . Forward DJ Burns (201-2001, college: YSU, agency: Players Group) stepped up and scored 23 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and guard Qua Grant (185-1999, college: SHSU) chipped in 12 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. Burns is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the losing side guard Kevin Capers (188-1993, college: FSC, agency: Inception Sports) responded with 13 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Demetrius Treadwell (201-1991, college: Akron) scored 10 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. M.Rehovot's coach Kobi Hasson tested ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. M.Rishon have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to seventh place. M.Rehovot at the other side keeps the third position with four games lost. They share it with I.Nahariya and E.Yavne.
