Everything went according to plan in Hod Hasharon where fourth rankedBnei Hertzeliya (9-4) beat 11th ranked H.Gilboa Galil (4-9) 88-83 on Saturday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Bnei Hertzeliya made 24-of-31 free shots (77.4 percent) during the game. American John Meeks (197-1999, college: Charleston) fired 27 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. His fellow American import forward Xavier Sneed (196-1997, college: Kansas St.) chipped in 21 points. Four Bnei Hertzeliya players scored in double figures. Forward Gur Lavy (198-2001, agency: BIG) produced 28 points and 8 rebounds and American forward Ben Moore (203-1995, college: SMU) added 15 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 blocks respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Bnei Hertzeliya maintains fourth place with 9-4 record. H.Gilboa Galil lost their third game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the eleventh position with nine games lost.
