There was a small surprise in Kfar Blum where tenth rankedHapoel Beer Sheva (5-8) defeated 8th ranked Galil Elion (5-8) 74-60 on Monday. The former international Spencer Weisz (193-1995, college: Princeton) fired 16 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. American guard Cody Demps (193-1993, college: Sacramento St.) chipped in 14 points and 7 rebounds. Naturalized Argentinian swingman Lucas Goldenberg (196-1993) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds and American Rawle Alkins (197-1997, college: Arizona) added 11 points and 10 rebounds respectively for lost side. Five H.Be'er Sheva and four H.Galil Elion players scored in double figures. H.Be'er Sheva moved-up to eighth place, which they share with H.Galil Elion and H.Afula. H.Galil Elion lost their third game in a row.
