Regular Season Round 16: Ramat Hash. - E.Shomron 96-93

Thirteenth-ranked E.Shomron (2-12) was very close to win a game against second ranked Ramat Hash. (11-3) in Ramat Hasharon on Tuesday. Ramat Hash. managed to secure only three-point victory 96-93. However their fans expected much easier game. Ramat Hash. looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Akaemji Williams (175-1996, college: LSSU) who helped to win the game recording 15 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. Hen Halfon (196-1996) contributed with 18 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. American Isaiah Crawley (201-1998, college: Georgia South) replied with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Ziv Weissmann (192-2003, agency: BIG) added 14 points in the effort for E.Shomron. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. E.Shomron's coach Dror Cohen tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Ramat Hash. have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 11-3 record having just two points less than leader M.Raanana. E.Shomron lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth place with 12 games lost. Ramat Hash. are looking forward to face H.Kfar Qasem (#10) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. E.Shomron will play against H.Safed Galil and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
