Very predictable result when fourth rankedM.Rehovot (11-6) rolled over on the road 10th ranked H.Kfar Saba (7-10) 91-65 on Friday. M.Rehovot outrebounded H.Kfar Saba 52-33 including a 44-28 advantage in defensive rebounds. M.Rehovot looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when M.Rehovot made 9 blocks. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Demetrius Treadwell (201-1991, college: Akron) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Daniel Sharon (198-2005) accounted for 9 points, 12 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winning side. Forward Ben Aken Matan (200-1997) came up with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds and power forward Aviel Levi (204-1998) added 6 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for H.Kfar Saba in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. M.Rehovot moved-up to third place, which they share with M.Rishon. H.Kfar Saba lost their third game in a row. Newly promoted team dropped to the eleventh position with ten games lost.
