Regular Season Round 15: H.Holon - H.Jerusalem 79-85

Date: January 25, 2025
The game in Holon was also quite interesting. Third ranked Hapoel Jerusalem (12-3) played at the court of 6th ranked Hapoel Holon (9-6). Hapoel Jerusalem managed to secure a 6-point victory 85-79 on Saturday. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Hapoel Holon. It was an exceptional evening for American Chris Johnson (198-1990, college: Dayton) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds. The former international Khadeen Carrington (193-1995, college: Seton Hall) accounted for 17 points for the winning side. American Jalen Adams (191-1995, college: UConn) came up with 23 points and Canadian point guard Elijah Mitrou-Long (185-1996, college: UNLV) added 16 points and 9 assists respectively for H.Holon in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. H.Jerusalem maintains third place with 12-3 record behind leader M.Tel-Aviv. Loser Hapoel Holon dropped to the fifth position with six games lost. They share it with Bnei Hertzeliya. H.Jerusalem will meet at home Kiryat Ata (#13) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. H.Holon will play against Bnei Hertzeliya (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
