There was a small surprise when ninth rankedH.Safed Galil (9-9) edged at home 7th ranked E.Yavne (9-9) 100-98 on Tuesday. H.Safed Galil looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists. The best player for the winners was American-Bahamas forward Jonathan Augustin-Fairell (201-1993, college: Murray St.) who scored 23 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. American guard Dachon Burke (193-1997, college: USA) chipped in 24 points and 6 assists. American power forward Thomas Gipson (201-1993, college: Kansas St.) produced 20 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists and his fellow American import guard Brandon Tabb (193-1995, college: BCU) added 26 points and 5 assists respectively for the guests. Four H.Safed Galil and five E.Yavne players scored in double figures. E.Yavne's coach David Elharar tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. H.Safed Galil have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to eighth place, which they share with E.Yavne and H.Kfar Qasem.
