Everything went according to plan when twelfth rankedH.Kfar Saba (8-15) outplayed on the road bottom-ranked Otef Darom (0-23) 84-59 on Friday. H.Kfar Saba outrebounded Otef Darom 49-35 including a 37-26 advantage in defensive rebounds. H.Kfar Saba looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. American forward Jalen Canty (203-1995, college: UCSB, agency: Haylett Sports) nailed a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side and his fellow American import point guard Devon Thomas (183-1994, college: Texas Tech) accounted for 13 points, 6 rebounds and 11 assists. Four H.Kfar Saba players scored in double figures. American swingman Vince Cole (198-1998, college: Coastal) came up with 12 points and 8 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) and forward Yonatan Abouloff (195-2005) added 12 points respectively for Otef Darom in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Newly promoted H.Kfar Saba maintains twelfth place with 8-15 record. Otef Darom lost their twentieth game in a row. They still close the standings.
