Very predictable result when third rankedHapoel Jerusalem (17-5) defeated at home 11th ranked E.Netanya (7-15) 93-76 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by H.Jerusalem. E.Netanya managed to win third quarter 18-15 . But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Hapoel Jerusalem made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Hapoel Jerusalem made 10 blocks. American center Austin Wiley (211-1999, college: Auburn) fired a double-double by scoring 14 points, 13 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winners. The former international swingman Yovel Zoosman (200-1998) chipped in 18 points and 5 rebounds. Hapoel Jerusalem's coach Yonatan Alon used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. H.Jerusalem maintains third position with 17-5 record having four points less than leader H.Tel-Aviv. E.Netanya lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the eleventh place with 15 games lost. They share the position with Kiryat Ata and H.Afula.
