There was a surprise result whenH.Kfar Saba outscored on the road H.Safed Galil 97-76 on Tuesday. Strangely H.Safed Galil outrebounded H.Kfar Saba 44-32 including 29 on the defensive glass. American point guard Devon Thomas (183-1994, college: Texas Tech) fired 31 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Forward Omer Sade (200-2001) chipped in 29 points. Four H.Kfar Saba players scored in double figures. American-Bahamas forward Jonathan Augustin-Fairell (201-1993, college: Murray St.) produced a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds and the former international power forward Daniel Koperberg (208-1997) added 12 points and 14 rebounds respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
