There was a minor upset whenOtef Darom was defeated on the road by E.Ashkelon 83-68 on Tuesday. E.Ashkelon outrebounded Otef Darom 47-28 including 33 on the defensive glass. E.Ashkelon looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American Cody Riley (206-1997, college: UCLA) fired a double-double by scoring 10 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Tomer Cohen (193-1997, agency: BIG) chipped in 15 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Five E.Ashkelon players scored in double figures. American swingman Vince Cole (198-1998, college: Coastal) produced 23 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists and forward Yonatan Abouloff (195-2005) added 19 points respectively for lost side. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games.
