The game in Gan Ner was quite interesting. Second rankedMaccabi Tel-Aviv (20-4) played at the court of 8th ranked H.Gilboa Galil (10-14). Maccabi Tel-Aviv managed to secure a 7-point victory 80-73 on Monday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of H.Gilboa Galil. It was a good game for French-American Jaylen Hoard (204-1999, college: Wake Forest) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds. The former international power forward Roman Sorkin (209-1996, college: Oregon) contributed with 12 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Maccabi Tel-Aviv's coach Oded Kattash used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Elijah Childs (201-1999, college: Bradley) replied with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Paul Scruggs (190-1998, college: Xavier) added 15 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for H.Gilboa Galil. Four M.Tel-Aviv and five H.Gilboa Galil players scored in double figures. Defending champion maintains second position with 20-4 record behind leader H.Tel-Aviv. Newly promoted H.Gilboa Galil keeps the eighth place with 14 games lost. They share the position with H.Galil Elion and H.Be'er Sheva.
