Very expected game when 7th rankedIroni Nes-Ziona (12-14) was defeated on the road by third ranked Hapoel Jerusalem (20-6) 94-89 on Tuesday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. H.Jerusalem looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American center Austin Wiley (211-1999, college: Auburn) had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international swingman Yovel Zoosman (200-1998) chipped in 13 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Hapoel Jerusalem's coach Yonatan Alon used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. American Bryce Brown (190-1996, college: Auburn) responded with 21 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and Panamanian-American forward Ricardo Lindo Jr (203-2000, college: GWU) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. H.Jerusalem maintains third position with 20-6 record having just three points less than leader H.Tel-Aviv. Loser Ironi Nes-Ziona keeps the seventh place with 14 games lost. They share the position with H.Gilboa Galil and H.Be'er Sheva.
