An interesting game took place in Shomron where higher rankedH.Safed Galil (16-17) was upset on the court of twelfth ranked E.Shomron (12-21) 93-79 on Tuesday. Strangely H.Safed Galil outrebounded E.Shomron 37-25 including 23 on the defensive glass. It was a great shooting night for E.Shomron especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American guard Remy Abell (193-1992, college: Xavier, agency: 6th Man Basketball Agency) fired 21 points and 6 assists for the winners. Russian center Artem Zabelin (215-1988) chipped in 25 points. Five E.Shomron players scored in double figures. American guard Dachon Burke (193-1997, college: USA) produced 30 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and American-Bahamas forward Jonathan Augustin-Fairell (201-1993, college: Murray St.) added 22 points and 10 rebounds respectively for lost side. H.Safed Galil's coach Mickey Gorka rotated ten players and allowed the starting five to rest. E.Shomron maintains twelfth place with 12-21 record. Loser H.Safed Galil dropped to the ninth position with 17 games lost. They share it with H.Izrael.
