No shocking result in a game whenM.Rehovot beat at home E.Shomron 86-77 on Wednesday. M.Rehovot looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. American guard Tavis Smith (191-1999, college: Belm.Abbey) notched 17 points and 6 assists to lead the effort and the other American import forward Derrick Walker (206-1997, college: Nebraska, agency: Diamond Sports) supported him with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Smith is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Even a double-double of 19 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists by American forward Demetrius Treadwell (201-1991, college: Akron) did not help to save the game for E.Shomron . Naturalized American point guard Paul Delaney (188-1986, college: UAB) added 14 points and 8 assists for the guests. Four M.Rehovot and five E.Shomron players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
