Regular Season Round 3: H.Haifa - I.Nahariya 82-77

There was a surprise result when Hapoel Haifa (2-1) beat at home I.Nahariya (1-1) 82-77 on Friday. The best player for the winners was American forward Wesley Harris (203-1997, college: Tennessee St.) who scored 18 points and 7 rebounds. Guard Shoham Gat (189-2002) chipped in 17 points and 5 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American center Michael Holyfield (211-1992, college: SHSU) who recorded a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds and guard Omer Ben David (188-2001) added 18 points respectively. Five H.Haifa and four I.Nahariya players scored in double figures. Hapoel Haifa will meet Otef Darom (#5) in the next round. I.Nahariya will play against M.Ma'ale Adum. and hope to win that game.
