Regular Season Round 3: H.Be'er Sheva - M.Rishon 67-75

There was a minor upset when Hapoel Beer Sheva (1-2) was defeated at home by M.Rishon (1-2) 75-67. M.Rishon dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Hapoel Beer Sheva's 32. M.Rishon forced 22 H.Be'er Sheva turnovers. The game was also dominated by American players. It was a good game for forward Amin Stevens (203-1990, college: FAMU) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 10 rebounds (on 14-of-18 shooting from the field). Guard Khalil Ahmad (191-1996, college: CS Fullerton, agency: Octagon Europe) contributed with 20 points for the winners. Forward CJ Elleby (198-2000, college: WSU) answered with 14 points and 7 rebounds and forward Michael Foster Jr. (207-2003) added 8 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for H.Be'er Sheva. M.Rishon will play against H.Jerusalem (#10) at home in the next round. Hapoel Beer Sheva will play against H.Gilboa Galil in Gan Ner to get more than just one victory in their record.
