This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their fourth consecutive match to top-ranked Hapoel Holon (3-0) 82-70 on Friday evening. H.Holon made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. The winners were led by American center Hassan Martin (203-1995, college: URI) who scored that evening 18 points and 9 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) and the other American import guard Xavier Munford (193-1992, college: URI) supported him with 13 points and 6 assists. Hapoel Holon's coach Danny Franco used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 12 points and 4 assists by American guard Isaiah Whitehead (192-1995, college: Seton Hall) did not help to save the game for I.Ness Ziona . U.S. Virgin Islands Desi Rodriguez (197-1996, college: Seton Hall) added 15 points for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Hapoel Holon have a solid three-game winning streak. H.Holon moved-up to third place. Loser Ironi Nes-Ziona still closes the standings with four games lost.
