Bnei Hertzeliya has registered their first victory this season after three consecutive losses. The win is especially important as it came on the road game in Rishon Le-Zion, where they defeated M.Rishon (1-4) 95-90 . Bnei Hertzeliya players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. Nigerian-American center Chinanu Onuaku (207-1996, college: Louisville) nailed a triple-double by scoring 23 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists for the winning side and American guard Elijah Stewart (196-1995, college: USC) accounted for 30 points and 6 assists. American forward DJ Burns (201-2001, college: YSU, agency: Players Group) came up with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 11 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals and the other American import guard Qua Grant (185-1999, college: SHSU) added 17 points and 5 assists respectively for M.Rishon in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Bnei Hertzeliya (1-3) left bottom position moving up to eleventh place. Newly promoted M.Rishon dropped to the bottom position with four games lost. They share it with I.Ness Ziona and E.Netanya.
