The most surprising game was the first loss ofHapoel Holon (3-1) at the home court on Monday night. Hosts were defeated by seventh ranked Kiryat Ata (3-2) 98-90 . It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Hapoel Holon. Kiryat Ata made 20-of-24 free shots (83.3 percent) during the game. American guard Noah Locke (190-1999, college: Providence) stepped up and scored 21 points and 7 rebounds for the winners and guard Tomer Asayag (192-1999) chipped in 17 points and 6 assists. American guard Derrick Walton Jr (185-1995, college: Michigan) responded with 16 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists and the other American import swingman Jordan McRae (197-1991, college: Tennessee) scored 23 points and 5 rebounds. Four Kiryat Ata and five H.Holon players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Kiryat Ata moved-up to fifth place. H.Holon at the other side dropped to the fourth position with one game lost. Kiryat Ata are looking forward to face bottom-ranked M.Rishon (#14) in Rishon Le-Zion in the next round and are hoping to win another game. H.Holon will play at home against H.Be'er Sheva (#8) and is hoping to win this game.
